ARTISTS BACKGROUNDI am a Glasgow born painter and writer. I paint in oil, pastels, and coloured beeswax (encaustic art). My preference lies in Scottish landscape paintings, although my abstracts have been as popular as the landscape paintings I sell.My art work has been exhibited in galleries in Glasgow, North and South east England and London. I have had poetry, haikus and prose published since 1996. I have run workshops and seminars in art and writing since 1997. I am currently running workshops and seminars to help people develop and grow their self esteem, always encouraging participants to express themselves in their own unique way. My aim is to create a safe environment where people can try out a new skill, resurrect an old one or enhance the seminars with their own expertise. |
